Brooklyn Townhouse is renovation and addition located in Cobble Hill’s designated historic district. Built in the 1840’s, the house is part of a set of four sister Greek revival townhouses. The existing building is a three family townhouse converted to a single family residence with a new two story extension. The design takes into careful consideration the context; historic architectural features, existing extensions adjacent to the property and two towering American Sycamore trees in the rear yard. LSS is the architect and BLDG is the construction management for the project. The house has required an extensive approval process with DOB, LPC and DOT, phasing the applications into multiple phases The project is currently in construction.
